Palestine have moved up 5 places in the FIFA World Rankings to 75th

OFFICIAL: Palestine have moved up 5 places in the FIFA World Rankings to 75th, their best ever position.

Palestine have today moved up by 5 places in the FIFA World Rankings to 75th, becoming their best ever rank.

According to the newest FIFA ranking, Palestine in th 75th position moved 5 places. Wow! Very proud of you

#Palestine #soccer team moved up 5 places in the #FIFA World Ranking list published today to 75th place. Palestine also took 7th position in the Asian Football Confederation. Palestinian U23 Olympic team has reached quarter finals in AFC U23 championship being played in #China.

If he can do with Kosovo what he did with Palestine he would be the perfect fit. Qualified team with ease for the 2019 Asian Cup- 11W-6D-2L (55 GF 13 GA) while in charge of Palestine took them from 19th to 9th in Asia. 140th to 75th in the FIFA Ranking.
Here is a better argument: If the Zionist Jews can argue for a right to return for the 75th+ #Jewish generation & settle in confiscated lands, then there should be no objection to the 3rd #Palestinian refugee generation returning to live on lands they do own. #Palestine #Israel

Israeli minister: will not expect any of the demands of the prisoners on hunger strike

Israeli Internal Security Minister Gilad Erdan, the ministry would not meet any of the requirements of the prisoner Marwan Barghouti, leader of the strike.

Ardan claimed that the prisoners declared disengagement of their hunger strike, after they understood that the prison would not meet them any demand whatsoever.

Chairman of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, Issa Qaraqi, confirmed that the prisoners suspended their hunger strike on Saturday morning, after an agreement with the prison service to meet the demands of the prisoners.

Palestinians say #Jerusalem 'not for sale' after Trump aid threat

Nikki lives in an alternative universe. The American people didn't vote to have our embassy moved. Nikki unilaterally decided that she speaks for the American people. Most Americans could not find #Jerusalem on a map. An act of a war monger, she is on the wrong side of everything

Israeli Armed Occupation Forces have just broken in the compound of the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. All hell will now break loose #AlAqsa #AlQuds #Jerusalem #Palestine

Imagine. India sided against US and Israel on #Jerusalem resolution vote at the #UN. Now, Palestine envoy in Pakistan poses with global terrorist Hafiz Saeed in Military Capital of Pakistan - Rawalpindi. Is this how they pay back? India’s biggest diplomatic mistake undoubtedly.

Quite brilliant 😬
A shoe store in #Ramallah decided to deal with #Balfour declaration and Trump's decision on #Jerusalem , with genuine rules.
#Palestine

This is good evidence that Trump admstrtion doesnt care about #Iran & free speech. Rather we seem to be carrying out Israel’s plan to destabilize every country in the Mideast except #Israel This is dangerous stuff

My Name Is Ahed Al Tamimi

"As long as there is a generation like me that can prove to the occupier that we are strong, and that we wil resist, then there's of course hope that we will be freed".

More
Living in occupied Palestine, means you'll wake up in the middle of the night to find bunch of soldiers searching your house for no reason, just to say "we are still here", those people seek attention and trouble, and dare u fight back.

#FreeAhedTamimi

we have 16 y/o girls like Ahed Tamimi locked up in israeli prisons for slapping bigger armed soldiers on her property, violating her basic human rights.. where’s the feminist uproar? but fuck things that actually matter, go grow out your armpit hair and draw clitorises everywhere.

The full story of Ahed Tamimi's arrest
Ahed Tamimi, a 16-year-old girl was arrested by Israeli forces and may spend 10 years in jail for slapping an Israeli soldier in her village. This is the whole story behind that viral video.

The lessons #Israel is teaching #AhedTamimi & all #Palestinians: our lives matter, your lives do not; we can shoot, beat, harass & humiliate you, but you cannot slap us;  and therefore know that we are above you & can operate w/ impunity & you must accept it or be punished

Both Ahed Tamimi and Yifat Alkobi were questioned for slapping a soldier in the West Bank, but little else about their cases are similar — simply because one is Jewish, the other Palestinian.

If 16 yr-old Ahed Tamimi were standing up to soldiers of US enemies, she'd be a national hero. Because she (bravely) confronts soldiers of a US client state, @Newsweek sees nothing wrong w profiling her "long history of assault against police and soldiers." What an embarrassment.Aaron Maté added,

Replying to @Newsweek
The US media loves victim blaming 16-year-old Palestinians who have grown up their entire life, and have seen their loved ones shot, under a brutal, murderous, and blatantly illegal, decades-long military occupation that is bankrolled by the US government.

Save the lives of children in Palestine from infectious diseases

My name is Baker Shabet, I am a 29 years-old, married and I have two daughters, I live in Palestine-Gaza that war-torn, I hold a bachelor's degree in Nursing and now I am working in children hospital in Gaza,
A Palestinian child in the intensive care unit, breathing with a mechanical ventilator.

In Palestine, especially the Gaza Strip, there has been a total siege for more than 10 years, there are several disasters that have resulted from this suffocating siege, including pollution of water and food.

This has led to bacteria and viruses transmission to children, this quickly turns into disease such as gastroenteritis which lead to dehydration, general poisoning and then death,
Also to respiratory diseases that lead to a failure in lung function and a complete respiratory failure leading to death and to very bad results.

A child suffering from acute Bronchiolitits and breathing with the help of the oxygen mask.

That's why I decided to help these children through my experience as a registered nurse
Through the creation of health awareness videos and published it through Facebook to a target group of mothers in the Gaza Strip, Palestine, the region most affected by these diseases and explain to mothers and explain how to avoid  these diseases and protect children from infectious diseases

Current unrest in Jerusalem

While attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound in East Jerusalem may have triggered the current situation, Palestinian frustration and the  current  state of unrest throughout the OPT is the outcome of Israel’s occupation. However, rather than fulfill its duties as Occupying Power and examine the root cause of events, Israel has reacted with repression.

Using security as a pretext, Israel has implemented unprecedented acts     of collective punishment, excessive use of force, and other attacks against Palestinians and civilian infrastructure, including hospitals, and has exploited the present situation to expedite existing aims across the OPT. This is especially evident in East Jerusalem, where Israel instituted a series of severe measures that target Palestinians.

First, by continuing to correlate stone-throwing with terrorism, 22 Israel attempted to justify the sweeping and extreme changes to live fire regulations and minimum sentencing guidelines.23 Next, under measures passed on October 13, the Security Cabinet instituted broad penalties24 against “terrorists” which will inevitably result in collective punishments.  By using the broad brush of terror, Israel attempts to defend its oppressive policies, but in fact violates its international obligations.

In 2015, the United Nations (UN) Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms while countering terrorism highlighted the principle of legality and noted “the adoption of overly broad definitions of terrorism carries the potential for deliberate misuse — including as a response to claims and social movements of indigenous peoples — and unintended human rights abuses. Unclear, imprecise or overly broad definitions can be used to target civil society, silence human rights defenders, bloggers and journalists, and criminalize peaceful activities in defence of minority, religious, labour and political rights.”25 These concerns are applicable to Israel’s historic26 use of “terrorism” legislation, and measures passed in 2015.27

Consequently, through Israel’s ambiguous, expansive measures and practices aimed at instilling more fear and quashing any form of dissent, including peaceful protest, East Jerusalem is slowly returning to a tense calm where its Palestinian residents remain targeted.

Since September 2015, Israel has instituted a series of actions that further target Palestinians in Jerusalem through the use of lethal force, searches without reasonable suspicion, and widespread arrest and detention. While these measures appear neutral on their face, in reality it is understood that they only apply to Palestinians.28 Through discriminatory legislation and practice that threaten rights to life, security and liberty, amongst others, Israel aims to assert more control over the Palestinian population.

East Jerusalem are cut off from each other

East Jerusalem are cut off from each other by checkpoints, the Annexation Wall, settlements and other barriers.11 Further, Israel regularly seals off these areas as a form of collective punishment. Limitations on movement and access extend to arbitrary restrictions on Palestinian Muslim and Christian holy sites, including during religious holidays. While recent attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound are considered as a spark for the current unrest, they are a routine part of Israel’s Jerusalem policy.

Palestinian Jerusalemites suffer these intolerable conditions in order to maintain their residency and access to the city of their birth. Even when these conditions are endured, threats of residency revocation by means     of Israel’s “center of life” policy,13 restrictive family unification, and other measures remain. Israel also uses other arbitrary actions resulting in forcible displacement from individual homes coupled with travel bans. Some Palestinians have received orders temporarily banning them from Jerusalem, where they were born and live. 14 Others have even been banned from being in the West Bank more broadly by Israeli authorities, essentially requiring relocation to Israel.

Israel’s East Jerusalem policy also aims at  crushing  Palestinian  political  and cultural life there. Israel has forced the closure of over 100 Palestinian social, cultural, and political institutions in Jerusalem since its occupation   in 1967. Some institutions currently experience frequent temporary closures, often when hosting political and national events. Most recently, the Palestinian National Theater “Al-Hakawati” is threatened with closure due to “municipal debts.”16  Israeli authorities regularly close down events  at Al-Hakawati.17 In addition to often banning public events that foster the Palestinian community, the Israeli government imposes Israeli-centered curriculums in most schools in East Jerusalem that omit recognition of Palestinian national identity, the occupation, and the Nakba, among other topics central to Palestinian history.

Palestinian political life in East Jerusalem has also been suppressed, especially by the closure of the Orient  House  in 2001, which  served  as  the Palestinian Liberation Organization’s headquarters in Jerusalem. In addition, there has been a clear attempt by Israel to deny Palestinian in East Jerusalem from exercising the fundamental rights of political participation and representation.18 For example, after being freely elected during the January 2006 elections to the Palestinian Legislative Council, three East Jerusalem parliamentarians were arrested in June of 2006, and sentenced to prison time in an Israeli military court.19 A former minister for Jerusalem affairs in the Hamas government was also arrested.20 Immediately following the election and the parliamentarians’ refusal to step-down, the then-Israeli Minister of Interior announced his decision to revoke the four politicians’ permanent residency, for “breach of trust” on account of their membership with a Hamas affiliated political party.

In total, since Israel’s illegal annexation, Palestinians in East Jerusalem have lived in perpetual uncertainty and fear. Any questioning of or resistance to Israeli policy can lead to both community-wide and individual repercussions. The aforementioned practices, and countless others, form one Israeli policy toward Palestinians in East Jerusalem. Such a systematic deprivation of rights may amount to the crime against humanity of persecution under international criminal law.
